HEY LADIES! FREE CHAMPAGNE!

Tuesdays are not the usual “going out” night, but there is no excuse to deny free champagne, especially in Brickell.  It’s surprising to see a free alcohol promotion from any Brickell establishment due to the high cost of rent and low success ratings.

I had no desire to stay in my dorm room and did not know what to do with myself, but social media appeared as my savior on that Tuesday evening- Thanks Facebook!  I was instantly connected to local Miami events and discovered, Segafredo's, a late night restaurant and bar in Brickell.

The direct correlation with social media draws attention to the event by making it available to a mass audience, but specifying it to a target audience.  Facebook is an extremely popular social media outlet that connects its users to more than long lost friends.  The site provides its users with the opportunity to explore upcoming events within their city.

Users have access to view who plan on attending the event (only if users choose to set their settings open to the public or take the option of customizing the viewing preference) and publicize an RVSP on the event page.  Effective promotional strategies are put in place to reach a mass audience and connect people with sharing interests.  Facebook serves to gain the advantage of connecting new people with the hope of users obtaining friend requests in return.
