South Beach: Club Louis

It all started with a text message from my friend Stephanie, a UM art major.  "Hey, wanna go to Club Louis in South Beach tonight? I have VIP and bottle service."

How could I say no to an offer like that?  I packed my little black dress, matching black stilleto heels and I was ready to hit up South Beach nightlife.  Miami is the city that continues to party, refill empty glasses with the secret weapon (Red Bull), to keep my hips swinging and my fist pumping until 5 a.m.

I walked in with the entourage of UM students and we were brought to our VIP section. The service at Club Louis was phenomenal. My glass was never empty, the ice was constantly refilled, the cranberry and orange juice chasers were always fresh and a near empty bottle of vodka continued to be replaced with a full one.

DJ Mister Gray, aka Todd Gray, is a Miami track slayer and party rocker.  His selection of music kept me dancing until morning.  DJ Mister Gray says, "I look forward to playing at Louis because of the intimate setting and the fact that I can play a true open format without losing any of my crowd."

According to his website, "He is dedicated to putting on an energetic show by concocting an uptempo, high energy, 'in your face' open format set. Mister Gray’s unique style stems from his love of all makes and models of music. This style constantly evolves as he blends a distinctive mix of house, hip hop, rock, 80s, disco, and any other genre of music." Join DJ Mister Gray on Monday, October 10 at Blue Martini with a few of his fellow DJ friends.
